We manage new-build, refurbishment and adaptation projects. The project manager is the lead point of contact for a client or their employer’s agent during construction, which simplifies the day-to-day process of delivering a project on time and within budget. Using Circle’s project management service mitigates many of the risks associated with this phase of development through experienced management of design and construction teams.
Our project managers ensure that project teams fulfil their obligations under the relevant contracts. We are often asked to combine this role with other services such as quantity surveying and/or employer’s agent — an efficient collaborative approach that can deliver cost savings and streamlined design management. Whatever service or combination of services we are providing, we focus on clear communications, concise direction, and good working relationships with client teams, contractors and other consultants. Good design generates value: good project management makes sure that value is captured cost-effectively.
We look for the use of efficient construction methodologies and minimised waste, and we advocate the use of building information modelling (BIM) from project stage 1 for its advantages in co-ordination.
The Chelsea Barracks project occupies a 5.2 hectare site in central London, former home of a British Army barracks. As part of Phase 3B of the master plan implementation, we delivered the extension and refurbishment of an existing modular building and the refurbishment of the chapel.

After completing my studies in Civil Engineering, I embarked on my career in the construction industry. I started by taking on various delivery roles with a Tier 1 Contractor, where I gained valuable experience across a range of sectors including Build-to-Rent and Prime Residential, Leisure, and Defence. During my time with the contractor, I had the opportunity to work as a Structural Design Engineer and even had the chance to work on projects in the Middle East, broadening my experience further.
The diverse projects I’ve been involved in have given me a well-rounded expertise in various aspects of built environment projects, including the technical, commercial, and delivery aspects.
In my role, I have the responsibility of overseeing several key departments within our company, including Project Management, Clerk of Works, and Quality Management. I actively participate in project oversight, offering support to our project teams to ensure that our projects are successful. This often involves attending design meetings and conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
I play a crucial role in the strategic planning of our projects and our efforts in securing new projects, ensuring our company continues to thrive in the industry.
I initially joined Circle during the company’s early days as a Project Manager. Over time, I worked towards becoming a Chartered Engineer and have since progressed to the position of Director. Throughout my time at the company, I’ve had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects. These include residential schemes like Taberner House and Abbey Place, as well as commercial office fit-outs and the restoration of Listed Buildings.
I have enjoyed the experience of working on the Mountbatten House office refurbishment project, due to its unique construction and the sheer scale of the site. Working on listed buildings like Mountbatten House can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. There’s a sense of gratification that comes from being involved in a project from its initial conception all the way through to its successful completion.
As a proud Welshman, it will come as no surprise that I am an avid rugby fan. While my playing days are behind me, my involvement with the sport is now limited to watching from the comfort of the sofa or chasing my son around at Rugby Tots. The rest of my free time is usually spent renovating houses and getting involved in anything construction-related projects. It’s a passion that extends beyond my work and keeps me busy and engaged outside of the office.

I pride myself on building positive relationships within the construction industry and believe in a collaborative and noncombative approach when dealing with issues that arise.
I started my career in a quantity surveying consultancy focusing mainly on high end residential developments for private Clients. I then joined a main contractor gaining further commercial exposure working on a range of sectors within construction. I went on to work as a project manager at a consultancy focusing on a broad range of schemes with a focus on stakeholder management. Schemes I have worked on have been in the following sectors: prime residential, commercial, education, residential mixed use, and heritage & infrastructure. I have experience in both pre contract & post contract duties.
My role includes a mix of pre and post contract administration. At the pre contract phase, I establish the clients’ objectives & brief, deal with supply chain engagement, identifying key risks & opportunities, formation of the core design team & consultants, alongside organising the necessary surveys & appointments to be completed. At the post contract stage, I am responsible for undertaking the Employers Agent (EA) and Project Manager (PM) role, alongside management of change, cash flow forecasting, budget management, stakeholder management, and being involved in the design review process. I ensure projects are managed accordingly from the conception of a scheme through to the practical completion of it. I pride myself on building positive relationships within the construction industry and believe in a collaborative and noncombative approach when dealing with issues that arise.
I started as a Project Manager in 2024 at Circle, and am currently delivering BtR projects including Water Lane in Leeds. I am currently working towards becoming a member of the RICS.
My favourite project is Water Lane, a build to rent development consisting of 375 new homes in Leeds. Having been involved from the start of construction on site, I am excited to be involved in the scheme as it offers, high-quality public realm, landscaping and a mix of engaging communal and amenity space which is focused on the resident experience. The Build to Rent scheme will transform the vacant former car park site into a vibrant, residential led neighbourhood.
I am a food enthusiast and have a passion for uncovering hidden culinary gems across London, whilst also having a keen interest in cooking for family & friends. I like to start my weekends by dialling in my freshly ground espresso and enjoy the routine of getting that perfect cup of coffee. Whilst I’m off from work, I try and explore new countries and cities during my annual leave. Since moving to the UK from South Africa more than a decade ago, I have somewhat retired my golf clubs, in lieu of playing a round on the odd occasion when the weather is nice. I have traded in my golf clubs for a padel racket and enjoy playing with friends on the occasion a court in London becomes available.

I’m a Chartered Construction Manager with over 20 years of experience in construction consultancy. As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and holding a BSc in Construction Management, I support clients by helping to simplify complex challenges throughout the lifecycle of their projects. My background spans a wide range of project types, including both new builds and refurbishments, across sectors such as residential developments, commercial spaces, listed buildings, office refurbishments and fit-outs, as well as education projects.
As a Senior Project Manager, I’m responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects, often acting as the Employer’s Agent. My role is centred on protecting and promoting our clients’ best interests, ensuring their goals remain at the heart of every decision.
I take a hands-on approach throughout the project lifecycle, managing delivery from the client’s perspective and ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled as intended. I act as the main point of contact between the client’s development team and the contractor’s site team, helping to simplify day-to-day processes and reduce complexity on site.
My approach is built on clear communication, and strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants alike. This allows us to mitigate risks, control costs, streamline design management, and ultimately deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
I started with Circle in May 2025 as a Senior Project Manager. My aim is to develop further in my career alongside the business, taking on new challenges and supporting the success of both our clients and our team.
One of my favourite projects is the Baltic Street development in Leith, Edinburgh. It’s a large-scale student accommodation scheme delivering 632 beds, involving the sensitive conversion of a Grade A Listed building and integration of new-build elements.
The site contains a rare group of Category B-Listed industrial buildings within the Leith Conservation Area. Preserving these historic structures while introducing modern forms that reflect the area’s industrial past has been a rewarding challenge. It’s a project that combines heritage, regeneration, and contemporary design in a meaningful way.
I enjoy spending time walking in the countryside with my dog, socialising with friends, going to the gym, and making time for family. These moments help me recharge and keep a healthy balance outside of work.

I started within the construction industry as a year out student studying Construction Management. Once I completed my studies at university, I moved on to become a Graduate Site Manager working within a Main Contractor before I became a Site Manager. I have previously worked on projects such as Student Accommodation, Hotel builds, and a build-to-rent scheme. I am keen to progress within the Construction Industry and learn about the future of construction, having recently obtained my MCIOB.
My role includes managing all stages of a project’s lifecycle from planning all the way through to the end of the project while working alongside Quantity Surveyors to ensure that clients receive the best possible product. My week typically includes a number of meetings, including internal catch-ups, design team meetings, and meetings with clients. I also have visits to the site between these meetings to walk through projects with contractors, designers, and clients. A site visit can open up people’s minds to what may not have been seen on paper, and I am keen to do these sorts of site visits to help everyone gain an understanding of projects.
My role includes managing all stages of a project’s lifecycle from planning all the way through to the end of the project while working alongside Quantity Surveyors to ensure that clients receive the best possible product.
I recently started as an Assistant Project Manager. I have been welcomed into a friendly and great learning environment at Circle Development. I am currently working on two projects: Bristol Canon’s House, an office refurb project spanning over two large buildings with Heritage status, and Westminster Under School, a school expansion from an office building to a school building.
My favourite project is Westminster Under School. This project consists of a 1990’s office building conversion to a school. This comes with its own complex needs from planning and design aspects. Seeing the planning process and the first steps of the RIBA stages is completely new to me and requires me to read and learn every day. This project will be rewarding to see through all stages, and I will gain valuable knowledge for future use.
I enjoy playing football for my local ladies’ team. I train each week while also playing matches and tournaments most months. I am also a keen football supporter and attend matches as and when I can. I enjoy travelling to different countries and experiencing different cultures and scenery, most recently visiting Brugge in Belgium where I visited the Belfort (Belfry) and enjoyed the architecture. I also enjoy spending time at home with my family and my cat Meetz.

I am a CIOB-accredited project manager with a delivery background, with experience across multiple sectors. I have worked for Tier 1 Contractors and in recent years, Project management, working closely with Clients to achieve their project aspirations.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the construction industry across multiple sectors. At Circle Development I specialise in residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality residential buildings and prime commercial spaces across London and in the regions.
My responsibility pre-contract is to drive the programme, lead the design team and understand, manage and minimise project risks and opportunities for Clients. I prioritise client satisfaction by fostering clear communication, managing expectations, and delivering projects that align with the client’s vision and goals. Client feedback and repeat business are testaments to my client-centric approach.
I have experience in developing project execution plans and monitoring the construction phase plans as the works progress. I establish the project programme and drive the wider team to hit the key project milestones, such as the preparation and submission of planning documentation. Post-contract award, I have a depth of experience administering the contract to make sure the ERs are delivered on time and within budget and to the correct quality.
I started professional life in the Construction industry working onsite as a trainee engineer, working my way up to a senior construction manager before switching to the client side with Circle in 2020.
This change of direction presented an opportunity to broaden my knowledge of the construction industry. I joined Circle as an Assistant Project Manager in 2020 and have progressed to a Senior Project Manager, during my time with Circle I have Project Managed projects such as Abbey Place, Talgarth Road PBSA and Canons House and have taken a lead role in the development of the Clerk of Works business.

These achievements demonstrate my ability to handle complex projects with efficiency and precision. I enjoyed my time working at Abbey Place fostering strong working relationships with the various members of the Client and Contracting teams to deliver some much-needed high-quality housing in a developing area which has recently been connected by the Elizabeth line.
I have an interest in cycling, running and football, playing for my team in London at weekends. I also played a key role in the Circle 5 a-side team which achieved back-to-back relegations in the local league. Recently I have taken on the new challenge of learning to ski, honing my skills regularly in Milton Keynes over the past few years.

After studying Construction Management and Surveying for my degree, I began my career at a global consultancy working on a variety of government and centrally funded projects in which I gained experience of a vast range of clients and sectors. During my career I have developed experience in masterplanning, fit out and public realm and the experience of these has furnished me with the skills to undertake my current role as a Junior Project Manager.
My role consists of a wide range of responsibilities and activities, during the early RIBA Stages I work with the Client and the Circle team to provide programmes, risk information and management of the design team to deliver and effective and efficient design in advance of construction. During construction, I work with the Contractor’s site team team, the Circle Quality team and and Quantity Surveyors to facilitate and monitor the progress of the project as well as any changes that might be required. I am well versed in building positive relationships across a project team and am always in favour of a collaborative working environment that provides a vehicle for positive communications and effective conflict resolution.
I am well versed in building positive relationships across a project team and am always in favour of a collaborative working environment that provides a vehicle for positive communications and effective conflict resolution.
Having joined Circle in October 2024, I have jumped straight into interesting projects with agile project teams and have been able to use my own expertise to contribute to them. The environment within the company is one which gives me the space to succeed and provides a brilliant platform for me to obtain my RICS chartership.
My favourite project is Westminster Masterplan; the intricacies in this project due to its constraints are really challenging and this opportunity for problem solving has hugely engaged my interest. Alongside this, the heritage aspects of the project draw on parts of my academic study which has been really enjoyable to draw upon.
Outside of work I am often found spending my time spending time getting out for a run, going to a new type of gym class or watching sports, having been a football fan for as long as I can remember. When I want some quiet time, I like sticking my head in a book whilst my latest bake is in the oven, spending time cooking with housemates or watching a terrible film.

I originally started my career as an apprentice site Quantity Surveyor with Tier 1 main contractor Laing O’Rourke, all while pursuing a Quantity Surveying degree. During this time, I gained hands-on experience delivering large, complex projects in aerospace, residential, large-scale commercial regenerations, and healthcare.
I shifted my focus to client-side project delivery, specialising in tendering, procurement, and contract administration. I was at the forefront of the UK build-to-rent sector, overseeing the delivery of one of the first institutionally funded schemes in North Acton.
In 2018, I founded Circle with a clear mission: to simplify the project delivery offering available to clients. I aimed to remove multifaceted teams and instill a detail-focused mindset across all team members. My focus is on continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry advancements, such as the Building Safety Act, while also investing in Circle’s development and positioning in the Carbon Management sector. I proudly received fellowship from RICS in 2022.
As the Managing Director, my role includes overseeing all Circle functions, managing people, business planning, conducting project reviews, and engaging with the supply chain. I also enjoy actively managing projects at key stages, including initial feasibility and procurement, alongside the expert teams within Circle. I take an active role in Life Cycle Carbon Assessments and Life Cycle Costing studies, as I have a deep passion for this emerging sector. My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge they need to make the right decisions for the future.

What is your favourite project?
I don’t have a clear favourite project, but I have recently enjoyed the conversion and repurposing of the Beech Street project in the City of London. I presented Circle’s work to the planning officers, highlighting the analysis, benefits, and comparison of design options. The One Maidenhead BtR project is where I call home, and as a result, I have experienced firsthand the positive impact that this large-scale regeneration can have on town centres. The brickwork looks great from the station platform each morning!
At home, my main hobby is keeping up with two babies and a cockapoo! I have a keen interest in motorsports, having spent over ten years racing superbikes at club level around the UK circuits, starting in the junior 125cc classes and progressing to 600cc before transitioning to off-road trials riding. More recently, I’ve traded big engines and high speeds for the occasional half marathon and coastal walks with my family and fluffy dog.

While studying Civil Engineering at University, I began my career as a placement student site engineer for a Tier 1 Contractor. Working on a police training facility in Yorkshire, which included the construction of indoor ballistic fire-ranges. This initial experience kick-started my journey in the construction industry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, each with its own intricate design details. These projects have included a 35-storey residential tower, commercial factories spanning over 120 acres, secondary schools, and petrol filling stations located within residential developments. My work has taken me to various locations across the UK, and I’ve also gained valuable overseas experience in Qatar.
In my role as Associate Director, I’m responsible for overseeing part of the project delivery function within Circle, including Construction Contracts from RIBA Stage 3 through to RIBA Stage 6. This involves managing of a diverse number of individuals through varied communication methods, to align Consultants/Contractors in obtaining the Client’s brief. I set key project deliverables, manage project risks, and address critical issues to facilitate the success of collaborative schemes. I particularly enjoy my role during significant project milestones, such as successfully concluding tendering negotiations between a contractor and client, as well as issuing ‘Practical Completion’ certificates at the conclusion of construction projects.
I began my role as a Project Manager in 2019 at Circle. During my time here, I achieved my Civil Engineering Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in 2020. The invaluable support and technical knowledge shared by my colleagues during Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions played a crucial role in helping me attain my Chartership and advance into the role of Senior Project Manager.
My favourite project at Circle has been ‘The Fox.’ It was a significant opportunity for me to lead a construction project from cradle to grave. While the project presented its fair share of challenges, including a suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it provided me with the chance to build relationships with both the client and contractor teams, which will last a lifetime. The project’s intricate design required me to utilise my on-site experience, which was instrumental in successfully delivering a traditional reinforced concrete frame building, hidden behind a locally listed historic pub and included facilities catered to both private and affordable housing residents. The project’s complexity and the teamwork involved made it a particularly rewarding experience.
I’m a keen sportsman, even though I might not excel in any particular sport, I enjoy the competitive element and camaraderie that sporting competition brings. In my free time, I like to use my holidays as an opportunity to explore countries all over the globe. The rest of my time is spent on my own construction project at my home in South London.

I started my career after studying Construction Management and Surveying at university as a Graduate Project Manager with an organisation in the nuclear fusion industry. I loved the exposure to complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders that came with the role, and I moved on to consultancy work in 2022 to gain experience in the residential sector.
I have since worked for a wide variety of public and private clients on projects across the UK, with particular experience in the role of Employer’s Agent and Project Manager on affordable housing schemes for various London boroughs.
I work across RIBA Stages 2 to 6, ensuring that projects progress through the lifecycle within agreed parameters, while staying true to the client’s vision. My role involves developing coordinated programmes, managing stakeholders and overseeing contract administration, all of which are essential to maintaining momentum and alignment across the project team.
I’m also responsible for project team meetings, driving progress through key gateways and making sure that risks and issues are identified early and managed proactively. Communication plays a big part in what I do, whether it’s reporting to clients, liaising with contractors or coordinating with local authorities and consultants. Ultimately, I act as the main point of contact for the client throughout delivery, helping to turn a brief into a built outcome that meets their needs and expectations.
I joined Circle in September 2025. I’m excited to gain more experience in technically complex projects. I’m particularly keen to work on projects that reflect my personal values around sustainability, as I have always been conscious of the role the built environment plays in our impact on the planet.
I love going to the gym and try to go as often as possible. I also enjoy going to the cinema, learning German, going to the pub and exploring new places on foot. Last year, I hiked to Everest Base Camp, which was an incredible experience. Any other spare time usually goes into looking after my two dogs or working on home renovations.

I started my career as a professional rugby player, representing teams like Wasps, Harlequins, and finishing in Rouen, France. During my rugby career, I pursued higher education, earning a business management degree from Northumbria University and a Masters in Real Estate. My interest in the property industry grew during my playing days, and I undertook work experience roles with companies like JLL and Berkeley Homes during the off-season.
I specialise in various aspects of the property industry, including cost planning, tender/procurement management, employers agent roles, and valuations. My experience spans across residential, commercial, and education sectors. I also have a keen interest in Carbon Quantification and its potential impact on the construction industry.
My role involves a blend of Quantity Surveying, Employer’s Agent, and Project Management, both in the pre-contract and post-contract phases. In the pre-contract phase, I conduct feasibility studies, create pre-tender cost plans, collaborate with design consultants to ensure the project aligns with the client’s needs, assist with contract negotiations, and engage in problem-solving. In the post-contract phase, I handle monthly on-site valuations, cost reports, and cash flows. I issue change orders and provide an Employer’s Agent report to the client on a monthly basis. Ensuring practical completion of projects in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements is also a vital part of my role. Recently, I’ve expanded my knowledge in Life Cycle Carbon Assessments, which allows me to assist clients in planning and reducing carbon emissions from their developments.
I joined Circle in August 2022 as an assistant Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager and have played a key role in the Aberfeldy Village redevelopment, which will provide 1,582 new high-quality homes. I’ve also been involved in the Talgarth Road PBSA, the UK’s largest forward-funded purpose-built student accommodation. My favourite project is Water Lane, a build-to-rent development in Leeds with McLaren Living, consisting of 375 apartments. I’ve been involved since the early RIBA stages and have enjoyed collaborating with the design team to ensure a high-quality, efficient building is constructed. As the project enters the delivery stage, I’m excited to see the design come to life in an area I grew up in. Another favourite project of mine is Beech Street in the City of London, on the edge of the famous Barbican Estate. It’s set to become a Co-Living development, a new concept in the UK rental market that focuses on community living.
I have a passion for various sports, including Rugby, Cricket, Football, Golf, and Tennis. However, I’ve recently taken up padel tennis, which has become my new favourite. Finding a court in London can be a challenge, but it’s worth it. I love to travel and explore less-traveled areas across the globe, with my favourite destinations being Canada and the Philippines.

I began my career in Construction in November 2021 when I, during lockdown, took on the role of Site Carpenter/Site Foreman, working on several home renovations in the south of England. This experience ignited my passion for property development and a strong desire to work in the sector. Building on this, I combined my Accounting and Finance Bachelor’s Degree with my on-site experience, transitioning to a role as a Quantity Surveyor in both residential and commercial sectors. I also have a keen interest in Carbon Quantification and am working towards my BREEAM accreditation. I firmly believe that carbon optioneering is essential for a successful project and strive to make clients aware of more carbon-friendly construction methods.
I have a keen interest in Carbon Quantification and am working towards my BREEAM accreditation. I firmly believe that carbon optioneering is essential for a successful project and strive to make clients aware of more carbon-friendly construction methods.
As a Quantity Surveyor, my responsibilities span financial, contractual administration, and project coordination, ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. I have a significant role in Life Cycle Carbon Assessments at Circle, overseeing the production of assessments throughout the company. This role is crucial in mitigating the environmental impact of building projects by considering carbon emissions at all stages, from material extraction to end-of-life. Additionally, I take pride in organising the annual Circle ski trip, managing budgets and delivering on expectations.
I joined Circle in May 2022 as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager. Over time, I have evolved into a more prominent Quantity Surveyor and Employers Agent role. I appreciate the flexibility offered by Circle, allowing me to explore and experience various roles within the company. I have gradually taken on more responsibilities in the two post-contract projects I am involved in and aim to continue my development with the company.
Mountbatten House holds a special place as my favourite project for various reasons. The uniqueness of the building itself, the challenge of renovating an existing frame while reducing its carbon footprint, and the rejuvenation of the fantastic garden terraces are all sources of excitement. I envy those who will have the opportunity to work there upon completion. Nonetheless, I hold great respect for my other projects as well.
I’m always eager to dive into various activities, whether it’s sports, dinners, festivals, or nights out. When I’m not dining out or cooking, you’ll find me cycling for outdoor fun or enjoying a few drinks with friends. I’m enthusiastic about using my holidays to explore new countries and cultures. However, there’s nothing wrong with a cozy night in with a takeaway curry to recharge.

I began my career working on-site with a Tier 1 Main Contractor, gaining hands-on experience in national infrastructure projects across highways, rail, water, and power sectors. As part of my professional development, I completed a year-long design secondment with an independent consulting engineering firm, where I am now a Chartered Civil Engineer. Afterward, I joined a specialist engineering firm and delivered the enabling works for a flagship commercial redevelopment in prime central London. I’m excited to have joined the Circle Developments team as a Project Manager in Spring 2025.
As a Project Manager, my role is diverse and adapts to the unique needs of each client and the stage of the project lifecycle. I focus on ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on time while fully understanding and aligning with the client’s requirements. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders is central to my approach. My typical responsibilities include developing detailed, logic-linked programmes, managing budgets, and leading design and consultant teams to successful project outcomes.
Since joining Circle, I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and deepen my understanding of the Pre-Contract stage, which complements my technical background from working with contractors on-site. I’ve really enjoyed collaborating with diverse clients on different schemes, including the Westminster Schools Co-Educational expansion and several redevelopment projects converting former office blocks into Co-Living spaces.
I have particularly enjoyed working on two repurposing projects that involve converting existing office buildings into Co-Living residential units. I’m passionate about applying innovative building techniques to create more sustainable solutions for clients. One project, located on the edge of the Barbican Estate, has been especially rewarding as it gave me the chance to navigate the planning restrictions associated with working in a Conservation Area in central London. It was an insightful learning experience.
I’m a keen sportsperson, with a particular passion for running and cycling. In the summer of 2023, I cycled 3,000 km across Europe, following the Loire River on France’s west coast, then the Rhône, and finally from the source of the Danube all the way to Budapest. It was an incredible adventure that combined my love of endurance sports with exploring new places.

I am an RICS Chartered Project Manager with experience representing clients in both the UK and South African residential markets. Over the past few years, I have specialised in delivering airspace residential developments in the UK, building on top of existing high-rise schemes, managing the challenges of constructing above fully occupied homes, navigating evolving fire regulations, and finding creative ways to improve programme efficiency.
With my move to consultancy in Autumn 2025, I plan to leverage my client-side experience to better anticipate clients’ needs, from exemplary service delivery to effective relationship management.
As a Project Manager, I deliver projects from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 6 by managing the programme, budget, and risks in line with client requirements. I am energised by building strong teams through positive relationships and aligned goals. I report to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and provide clients with timely advice to support informed decision-making, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, with efficiency and collaboration.
I joined the Circle team in September 2025 and am looking forward to growing my expertise, sharing knowledge, and playing an active role in the success of our projects.
I resonate with Circle’s goal to be carbon conscious, as I am fascinated by the potential of green technologies and their adoption in buildings to improve occupier well-being. I’m passionate about making sure buildings work as well in practice as they do on paper, and my postgraduate research focused on bridging this gap. I also make it a priority to stay on top of changing regulations so I can provide clients with clear, proactive advice and deliver robust, resilient solutions.
I am an avid sportswoman, with tennis and cycling as my go-to activities. I’m always on the lookout for my next cycle tour, using it as a way to explore different countries. Completing the Ironman 70.3 in Luxembourg sparked my love for triathlons, which has since become one of my top passions. I also enjoy painting and sketching as a creative escape.

With 12 years of experience across both New Zealand and the UK, I have worked as a quantity surveyor for subcontractors, main contractors, and consultancies. The majority of my experience has been gained in consultancy roles. For the past six years, I have been based in the UK, specialising in super-prime residential and commercial office developments. With substantial pre- and post-contract experience, I have successfully delivered a number of projects, managing them from early-stage planning through to the agreement of the final account.
At Circle, I am responsible for a combination of project delivery, client care, and staff development. As the main point of contact for projects through both pre- and post-contract stages, I ensure our team delivers high-quality work that achieves successful outcomes for both the client and the project team. Client care is a key focus for all senior members of the business, and I take pride in ensuring the client’s objectives and brief are fully understood. We maintain constant communication throughout all stages of the project, ensuring we not only meet but exceed their expectations. Staff development is a vital part of my role, where I provide team members with increasing responsibility on projects to support their growth, offering guidance and direction whenever needed.
I was appointed Associate Director at Circle Development in February 2025. In this role, I will focus on leading projects, managing the development of staff, and ensuring exceptional client care.
My favourite project to date has been Trehus, a commercial office building in Maidenhead offering 56,000 sq ft of office space. The design features a carbon-conscious approach, with a CLT frame supporting a stone façade. A key challenge on the project will be managing the interface between the CLT frame and the stone façade, which will require detailed design workshops to ensure efficiency and meet the client’s expectations. Construction is due to begin within the next two months, and it’s an exciting project to be involved in, with a great team and client.
I love travelling and exploring different cultures, and recently spent four months touring South America with my partner. My favourite destination was Torres del Paine National Park in Chile, where the hiking and scenery were truly amazing. Exercise is also a big part of my life; I make it a point to do something every day before work, whether it’s running or lifting weights at the gym. I also like to set myself a goal each year to train for, and this year, I’m aiming for a big PB in the Valencia Marathon. Golf is another hobby of mine, though sometimes my scores don’t reflect the effort I put in! I’m hoping to improve this year and would love to play at St Andrews Old Course, either this year or next.

My background is mainly academic, I hold a BSc in Architecture and was a Part 1 Architectural Assistant for over a year, engaging with clients, preparing planning applications, and producing detailed drawings. Alongside this, I have recently completed an MSc in Construction Project Management with Sustainability, with graduation set for December 2025. Through my studies, I’ve developed a solid understanding of design principles, project planning, and sustainable construction. I’ve also built strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and working collaboratively, which I now apply in my current role as an Assistant Project Manager.
In my day-to-day role, I take responsibility for managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders. I make it a priority to fully understand each client’s needs and expectations, ensuring deadlines are met and that we deliver high-quality results. I’m naturally curious and detail-oriented, so I ask the right questions, take time to understand the bigger picture, and make sure I’m always aligned with the project goals. Whether it’s preparing for meetings, contributing ideas, or capturing key decisions in written records, I focus on clear, effective communication. I also make it a point to flag any risks or issues early on so that project leads are always kept in the loop.
I bring a mix of rigorous thinking from my architectural background, a solid grounding in project management principles, and a strong awareness of sustainability in construction.
I’m really looking forward to progressing in my career at Circle. The opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive team is something I value highly, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing within the company. I’m particularly keen to work towards completing my RICS accreditation with the guidance and support of the Circle team, and I see this as a great environment to develop both personally and professionally.
I’m also excited about the chance to build strong working relationships, both within the Circle team and with our clients. I enjoy being part of collaborative projects where I can contribute meaningfully and learn from those around me. The diversity of projects and the emphasis on quality and client service at Circle really align with the direction I want to take in my career.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me oil pastel drawing, it’s something I enjoy as a creative outlet and a way to unwind. I also like staying active, and regularly play badminton with friends. It’s a fun way to keep fit, stay social, and recharge after a busy week.
