Queen’s Quarter
Park Lane, Croydon, UK
CLIENT  HUB ARCHITECT  Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM)
clerk of works
A major urban project to deliver 513 residential units in four towers, overlooking a new public park. The towers vary in height from 13 to 35 storeys. As clerk of works, we quickly established key hold points and benchmarks, ensuring that quality issues are closed out well in advance of the handover of finished areas. We supervised off-site testing of the bespoke cladding to confirm it met the project’s warranty requirements.

Circle’s multi-disciplinary team includes people with main contractor and design experience. This helped us add value at Queen’s Quarter in undertaking clerk of works and snagging services — notably in relation to the temporary works required, health and safety issues and aspects of design. We take a proactive approach to the clerk of works role, helping us solve the issues that arise at the same time as building and maintaining relationships with the organisations in the supply chain.
