CLIENT Dominvs ARCHITECT Maccreanor Lavington
quantity surveying – project management
A collaborative procurement route enabled Circle to secure for the client the services of the chosen contractor at pre-planning stage for this residential project — maintaining buildability within the constraints of the design, which is shaped by the site’s heritage context. Our appointment includes quantity surveying
and project management
“We see Circle as an extension of our in-house development team … very capable … experienced professionals, who between them possess a broad range of commercial, technical and managerial skills.”

PLANNING/HERITAGE + TOWNSCAPE CONSULTANT
submission June 2020
The Church Street project is located next to an historic church and opposite Enfield’s Gentleman’s Row, which is lined with buildings dating from the 16th-19th centuries, facing a section of Enfield Chase.
As quantity surveyor, we carried out an iterative cost planning process in preparation for the planning submission. We contributed and supported a viability process with the London Borough of Enfield and the Greater London Authority. Our cost appraisals for the architect’s design options were fed into the decision-making of the wider consultant team.
We are appointed to the Dominvs consultant team as project manager, managing invoicing procedures, making decisions concerning surveys and consultant appointments and agreeing further scope as necessary. The main contractor took the lead consultant role to help develop the best possible planning submission, and we worked closely with the contractor to ensure progress.
